Foxes Glacier Mint Vodka

This is my recipe for Foxes Glacier Mint vodka infusion, this seems to be very popular and by far the easiest to make, best served ice cold..

Ingredients ( Makes 1 Litre )

1x 1 Litre Bottle Of Vodka ( decent or semi decent brand, I typically use Red Square, Smirnoff red label or Glens )

1x Large Bag of Foxes Glacier Mints ( 200g )

Equipment

  • Spare empty vodka bottle for keeping leftover vodka in.
  • Funnel ( of a sufficient size to fit the 1 litre bottle.

Method

  1. Remove approximately one third of the vodka from the bottle, use the funnel and pour it into the spare vodka bottle.
  2. Remove the wrappers from each foxes glacier mint in turn, and drop them into the main vodka bottle that is to become the infusion. Repeat until all the mints are in the bottle.
  3. Return vodka from the spare bottle back into the main bottle, until it reaches the base of the neck of the bottle. ( This leaves a little room for expansion as the sweets dissolve )
  4. Screw the top back on to the bottle and shake vigorously a couple of times.
  5. Repeat the shaking once or twice a day until all the sweets have completely dissolved.
  6. Once the sweets have dissolved, chill the vodka and then enjoy.
